Job title: China Fitness Coach

Location: Baotou, Inner Mongolia (IM), China

Salary: £18,000 (equivalent in Chinese RMB fixed at exchange rate on date of employment) plus accommodation

Position Type: Full time Permanent

Report To: Little London Football Director, Tranmere Rovers Football Club Technical Director of Football and Futsal

Job Purpose: To deliver the Club’s elite development fitness coaching and sports science programme to Chinese juniors and coaches as required, representing Tranmere Rovers FC and working for Little London Football School (LLFS). Predominantly covering the age groups 14 and above, being based at an elite football training complex.

Job Description/Main Duties:

• Be an ambassador for both TRFC and LLFS

• Deliver age appropriate fitness coaching and sports science sessions to Inner Mongolian juniors of ages required

• Deliver personal and team development plans

• Help TRFC to develop the brand LLFS and the relationship with the IM Government with respect to the development of football in the province through promotional events when required

• Build effective working relationships with key LLFS and IM Government staff

• Deliver appropriate football/sports science related classroom sessions (in English) as required in schools, at LLFS or at IM Government training camps in Inner Mongolia

• Liaising with LLFS translators

• Report monthly to the TRFC Technical Director of Football and Futsal on progress within IM and provide feedback for areas of development and improvement

• Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the TRFC Technical Director of Football and Futsal

Skills/Qualifications:

Essential:

• Undergraduate degree in Sports Science or Science in Football/any other appropriate degree

• Experience in delivering sessions to individuals and teams

• Sound knowledge of Strength and Conditioning (S&C) principles and methods of training

• The ability to lead and motivate teams and influence people

• Enhanced DBS

• Driving license

Desirable:

• Experience of working abroad in a football environment

• Demonstration of understanding of cross-culture working

• Working towards UKSCA registration

• Masters in Sports Physiology/S&C/Nutrition

• Football coaching experience

Predominantly covering the age groups 14 and above, being based at an elite football and futsal training complex.

Job Description/Main Duties:

• Be an ambassador for both TRFC and LLFS

• Deliver age appropriate futsal coaching sessions to Inner Mongolian juniors of ages required

• To assist in the delivery of futsal as a football development tool across TRFC’s and LLFS’s activities in Inner Mongolia

• Provide guidance and support to futsal and football development and to the delivery of CPD events for TRFC coaches

• Help TRFC to develop the brand LLFS and the relationship with the IM Government with respect to the development of futsal in the province through promotional events when required

• Build effective working relationships with key LLFS and IM Government staff

• Deliver appropriate futsal related classroom sessions (in English) as required in schools, at LLFS or at IM Government training camps in Inner Mongolia

• Liaising with LLFS translators

Predominantly covering the age group 16-21 coaching Middle School, High School and University teams.

• Build effective working relationships with key LLFS and IM Government staff

Cowsheds Catering are looking for enthusiastic hard-working individuals who enjoy working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. As a member of the food station team you will help prepare and deliver the menu to our fans on match days.

Duties:

• High quality customer service

• Safe preparation, cooking and handling of food

• Till operation

• Maintain hygiene standards

• Stocking and cleaning food stations

Requirements/Experience:

• Must have good communication skills

• Must be hard-working, well organised and able to work well in a team
