Tranmere Rovers Football Club are recruiting for a football coach to play an integral part in their College. The College is going into its third year of operation and is growing significantly. You will be working as part of a coaching team, delivering sessions to students 16-19 years of age. We are looking for coaches who have good knowledge of the game and who can interact with different types of students with various levels of ability. We want the successful applicant to be able to deliver coaching sessions to a high standard with a great attitude which will inspire the students to progress. The sessions will take place at Prenton Park, Mondays-Fridays 2-4pm.

Essential Qualities:

Must have up-to-date FA Level 2 coaching qualifications, first aid, safeguarding and a valid DBS

Desirable Qualities

Passion to progress into the higher levels of coaching

Commitment to delivering quality and inspiring sessions on a daily basis

Job title: China Coaching Role

Tranmere Rovers is currently recruiting football coaches to go over to China and coach youngsters as part of our initiative with Little London School.

• The role is based in Inner Mongolia, China, in the capital city Hohhot and consists of coaching Chinese juniors football

• There is flexibility with the length of time that the coach would be out there. Either 6 months, a year or longer. That all really depends on how long the coach wants to be out there!

• We are recruiting for roles continuously throughout the year and will be sending coaches out on a rolling basis

• Applicants must have either an FA Level 1, FA Level 2 or UEFA B license

• Coaches will be earning a highly competitive Chinese salary though this varies depending on coaching ability/level

• Accommodation and bills are paid for when out there. Flights are reimbursed on completion up to £600 return

• Coaches will get the Chinese holidays off so a great chance to explore the country

• No Mandarin is needed and free Mandarin classes are provided when in Hohhot

• Though Tranmere Rovers are at the forefront of the recruiting process, coaches are employed by the school we have a working relationship with, Little London School, in Hohhot

Job title: Cowsheds Catering Team Leader

Location: Prenton Park

Wage / hours: £8/hour (part-time)

Cowsheds Catering are looking for enthusiastic hard-working individuals who enjoy working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth running of kiosk operations. Superb customer service is a must and you will be required to handle and prepare food, use the till and uphold the high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.


• Maintaining the teams’ high standards of customer service

• Safe food preparation and cooking

• Till operation and careful handling of cash and managing float

• Post-shift stock taking and reports

Job title: Catering and Hospitality Tutor

Tranmere Rovers College is looking for a Catering and Hospitality tutor to join our team and help our learners succeed, grow and gain employment skills in the catering and hospitality field.

Students will undertake a 12-week traineeship where they will complete classroom based learning, practical sessions, as well as experience of working across different departments around the Club.

Job Purpose

You will participate in the planning and delivery of the of programme in rolling 12 week blocks, where you will guide the students learning and help equip them to take their first steps into the catering and hospitality field.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will require a relevant teaching qualification (DET, B.Ed., or P.G.C.E) and have a passion for training and skills.
